LG G2

Hold up, a LG telephone in at number two? Accept it individuals; LG has made a telephone that inspired us as well as ran the HTC One, nearby for the top spot in 2013 - and holds that place into 2014 as well.

We don't know where to begin regarding praising the ethics of this new handset from the South Korean firm: its got a madly great screen, quality Polaroid, the best sound pumping out from its speakers and earphone jack... the schedule goes on.

We even came to endure, then love, the force and volume catches being put on the back. These aren't perfect, however the capacity to thump on the screen makes it truly simple to interface with this amazing gadget.

Verdict

There's such a great amount of on offer here that we really want to prescribe it to anybody searching for the best cell phone powerhouse.

The main things that we abhorrence are the jumbled UI (force down the warnings bar and you'll see why) and the plastic packaging, which drops the premium feel of the telephone a considerable measure, particularly contrasted with the handset that sits one spot above.

Yet propelling at £400 on PAYG (and significantly less expensive with a couple of outsider retailers), alongside similar contracts more established telephones, is a truly decent touch from LG, and we figure its going to pay profits
